Photo & Video Consent

When registering your child on PlayHQ for each season you either need to say "Yes" or "No" to this consent. Please review the below to ensure your understand this consent. When you click "Yes", this implies that you have read and understood the below.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We, at the Dromana Beachcombers Basketball Club, from time to time take photos and/or video during games, club events, awards, and training sessions. In this regard, we seek your consent for the publishing or use of photos and videos which your child may be included.
The photos/videos may be used for our club website, social media accounts, club newsletters, for creation of coaching aids, and club promotion/marketing.
Should you decide to take back your authorisation later on, you may do so by writing to us via email at info@beachcombersbasketball.club.
In providing consent, you understand the following:
- Your child’s name may be mentioned in association with these photos/videos (whether printed or electronic). We will not mention surnames or an address at any time.
- Your child may be photographed/recorded and any image be used in any club publication (printed or electronic) for the promotion of the basketball club, where my child is not individually identified.
- My child may be photographed/recorded as part of their team and identified by name where this is a printed publication for club use only (e.g. club yearbook or similar).
- Videos may be taken of my child playing or training to be used for family keepsakes by family members of my child’s team mates, or by the Club for the purpose of coaching instruction.
- I understand that should the club propose to use a photograph or video of my child in any circumstance other mentioned, where they are individually identified, that the Club will seek specific permission for this use.
- I can withdraw the consent I have given at any time. However, I understand that the Club may have limits into shared and reproduced such as that the institution can not undo what is already done.
- I have the right to correct or rectify any information that I may find to be incorrect.
